DrawerTally emails an end-of-day report for each of your Shopify POS locations every morning: sales, returns, tax, payments and cash drawer over/short.

Quick answers

How do I change the send time or who gets the email?

Open DrawerTally in your Shopify admin. Under Nightly email, edit Send to (separate addresses with commas) or pick a time in Send at, then click Save. Times are in your store's time zone.

Why didn't I get an email for a day?

By default, a location with no sales, returns, payments or cash drawer shifts that day is skipped. It shows as No sales under Recent reports. To get an email anyway, tick Also send on days with no sales and click Save.

If the day did have sales, check that Nightly email is on is ticked, that Send to has at least one address, and, if you have more than one location, that the location is ticked under Which locations get a report? Days when the nightly email was off aren't sent later. Reports come from reports@drawertally.com, so check your spam folder too.

Can I re-send a report for any day?

Yes. Under Preview any day, choose the Location and Day, click Preview to check it, then Email this report now. It goes to the saved Send to addresses.

Why is the cash drawer section empty?

Cash drawer counts (float, paid in/out, expected vs. counted, over/short) need Shopify POS Pro, with cash tracking turned on for that location. Sales, tax and payments are reported either way.

How do I uninstall, and what gets deleted?

Uninstall DrawerTally from the apps list in your Shopify admin settings, like any other app. Emails and billing stop right away. Shopify notifies us 48 hours later, and we then delete everything we hold for your store: settings, report history and access credentials. We keep only a one-way fingerprint of your store's address and the date your free trial started, so reinstalling doesn't restart the trial. Details in the Privacy Policy.
